GUNS, GIRLS AND GANGSTERS (1959)Directed by Edward L. Cahn Starring Gerald Mohr, Mamie Van Doren and Lee Van Cleef Mohr plays Chuck Wheeler, a smooth hood romancing Van Doren's pneumatic nightclub singer character while also engineering an armored car heist. The title alone assures this film's place in potboiler history. SAMPLE DIALOGUE:
VAN DOREN: Who are you? MOHR: The name's Wheeler. Your husband and I shared the same room at college.
VAN DOREN: Is Mike out of the pen?

Mohr rises to the occasion and attempts to clean up the town. Another great title from the Mohr oeuvre. The last film shot in Psychorama. ANGRY RED PLANET (1959) Directed by: Ib Melchior Starring Gerald Morh, Les Tremayne, Nora Hayden and Jack Kruschen Mohr portrays Col. Thomas O'Bannion, a space pioneer who is prone to uttering lines like the following: SAMPLE DIALOGUE:
MOHR: You know Irish, you're the first scientist I've ever known with lovely, long red hair. NORA HAYDEN: And you're the first pilot I've ever gone to Mars with. And listen, my name is IRIS, not IRISH. I never know if you're calling me by name or nationality.

The King of Atomic Cool manages to both provide on-the-spot coverage of a nuclear attack on Manhattan while shamelessly seducing Peggy Castle. All in a day's work. CLASSIC DIALOGUE:
