The CONELRAD 100 of Atomic Films

TITLE: ARMAGEDDEON

In pursue of 'The Rock'

ARMAGEDDON
DIRECTOR: Michael Bay
YEAR: 1998

The Dirty Dozen re-imagined in the unlikely story of a rag-tag group of oil well drillers being launched into space to stop an incoming asteroid. The plan is to bury a nuclear device deep inside the rock's surface, blast off and detonate. Worth seeing if only for Charlton Heston's dire opening narration and Steve Buscemi's depiction of space craziness.
