CONELRAD READ ALERT: Selected Books and Miscellenous Tracts
Easy to read, in home , office and factory - CONELRAD READ ALERT

While our 1999 mission statement remains uncompromised - "CONELRAD is the creation of writers who grew up in the shadow of the BOMB and all its attendant pop culture fallout" - we're finally able to reveal that we're READERS too. Long on our list of "to do's" was the production of an adhoc bibliography and a wide ranging list of recommended books and assorted printed ephemera.

It took a few years to wrap up our ATOMIC PLATTERS project and get some other housekeeping in order, but now we're back with READ ALERT: Selected Books and Assorted Atomica and excited to share some of the titles that have meant so much to us.

There's quite a backlog so bear with us (if you've purchased the Atomic Platters box set you already know how to Bear with us). The list of books, pamphlets, and comics we'll be reviewing is not intended to be exhaustive but should provide a quick study of Atomic Culture from a CONELRAD perspective.

It's easy to avoid missing future READ ALERTS (and new reviews in our growing film database ATOMIC HYGIENE: Cold War Shorts) by subscribing to their RSS feeds. Use the convenient icons in the left column to add a feed to your favorite browser or reader.
